What to write
1,811 messages, written for the person you are actually sending them to
Most message collections are one list with the names swapped. This one is not. What you write to a sister and what you write to a manager have almost nothing in common, so every page here is written for one relationship and one occasion, with the details that make it specific and the mistakes that make it generic.
Every message can be sent exactly as it appears. Every page also tells you which single phrase to change so it sounds like you wrote it, which is usually the difference between a message that is read and one that is kept.

When the message is the beginning of something
A card is the right answer most of the time. Occasionally it is not - a milestone, a distance, a thing you have been meaning to say for years. BloomQuest takes the same raw material these pages ask you for, the memory and the detail and the thing you would never say out loud, and turns it into a small private world the person opens from one link.
Common questions
- What makes a message sound personal instead of copied?
- One specific detail. A message that names something only you would know about the person - a habit, a moment, a thing they say - will always outperform a longer message made of general warmth. Every page here lists the details worth reaching for in that particular relationship.
- How long should a message be?
- Shorter than most people think. Three or four sentences containing one real observation beats a full card of good wishes. The exception is a milestone, where a longer message earns its length because there is more to name.
- Can I use these messages exactly as written?
- Yes. They are written to be sent as they are. The stronger move is to take one and change a single phrase to something only you would know, which takes about ten seconds and changes how the message reads entirely.
